Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Studitive’s services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services. If you are using our services on behalf of an institution, you represent that you have authority to bind that institution to these Terms.

2. Description of Services

Studitive provides AI-powered educational technology tools, including Studitive Assess — an assessment platform with AI grading and oral examination capabilities. Our services include assignment management, AI-powered grading, AI-generated exam questions, real-time AI oral examinations, video recording and analysis, and related features.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google Sign-In credentials
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Students must provide accurate university affiliation and student ID information
• One account per person — you may not create multiple accounts or share account access

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Studitive services only for their intended educational purposes. You may not:

• Attempt to circumvent anti-cheating measures during oral examinations
• Submit work that you know to be fraudulent or misrepresent as your own
• Use automated tools or scripts to interact with the oral examination system
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform’s operation
• Attempt to access other users’ accounts, submissions, or data
• Use the platform for any purpose other than legitimate educational activities
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of our AI systems

5. Intellectual Property

• Your content: You retain ownership of all assignments, submissions, and other content you upload to Studitive. By uploading content, you grant Studitive a limited license to process, store, and transmit your content for the purpose of providing our services (grading, question generation, oral examination).
• Our content: The Studitive platform, including its design, code, AI systems, and branding, is owned by Studitive and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of our platform without permission.
• AI-generated content: Grades, feedback, exam questions, and other AI-generated content produced by our services are provided as part of the educational process. Lecturers may use this content within their educational context.

6. Oral Examinations

• Oral examinations are recorded on video and audio for academic integrity and grading purposes
• By starting an oral examination, you consent to being recorded
• Recordings are stored securely and accessible only to you, your lecturer, and Studitive’s AI systems
• AI behavior analysis may flag suspicious behaviors, but the lecturer makes all final decisions regarding academic integrity
• Violation of examination rules (tab switching, exiting fullscreen) may result in automatic exam failure

7. AI-Powered Services

• Our AI systems (grading, question generation, oral examination, behavior analysis) are tools designed to assist educators, not replace them
• AI results may not be perfectly accurate — lecturers have the ability to review and override all AI-generated grades and assessments
• We continuously work to improve our AI systems but do not guarantee specific accuracy levels
• AI processing involves sending your data to third-party AI providers (Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude) under their respective data processing terms

8. Fees and Payment

Studitive Assess is currently available free of charge during the early access period. We will provide advance notice before introducing any paid plans or pricing changes. Early access participants will receive preferential terms when paid plans are introduced.

9. Availability and Modifications

• We strive to maintain service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access
• We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time with reasonable notice
• During the early access period, the platform is under active development and features may change

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Studitive and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of grades, academic outcomes, or data. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or zero during the free early access period).

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that our AI systems will produce perfectly accurate grades or assessments, that the platform will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that our behavior analysis will detect all instances of academic dishonesty.

12. Termination

• You may stop using our services at any time
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms
• Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases, but we will retain your data for a reasonable period as described in our Privacy Policy

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
